Medical Device Quality Management (MDQM)

The Medical Device Quality Management (MDQM) program exists to train and develop individuals who are currently employed in, or wish to enter the medical device industry or related industries. The five courses in this program can be applied to a certificate, bachelor's degree, or master's degree, depending on the student's academic background and educational goals. The MDQM program focuses on the quality systems, post-market surveillance, design control and assurance, manufacturing quality and supply chain management, and statistical processes that ensure excellence at key stages of the medical device life cycle.

Admissions Requirements

In order to be considered for enrollment in the MDQM programs at Grace, you must fulfill certain admission requirements. Below is a list of the requirements for the programs.

  • Certificate Program

    -High school graduation is required.
  • Bachelor's Program

    -As few as 60 prior college credit hours (some life and career experiences may be    substituted for credit hours)
    -GPA: Minimum 2.0
  • Master's Program

    -A Bachelor's degree is required.
    -GPA: Minimum 2.75
  • Complete the application process

A deposit of $250 is required of all MDQM students accepting admission to Grace College. This deposit will be applied to your tuition.

Computer Requirements for Enrolled Students:

  • Access to a PC or Mac capable of running Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Mac equivalent
  • Internet access high speed 1.5 MBits or above
  • MDQM is iPad friendly. iPads are not required to complete the program, but many of our students have found them to be a helpful tool. We currently provide what can be a paperless experience to iPad users where all course documents and course presentations are pushed out to iPad users in a format that allows them to take notes right on the documents using an iPad app.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Financial Aid Checklist

  • Apply and be accepted for admission to Grace College.
  • The FAFSA must be completed and mailed to the government as soon as possible after January 1st. Grace's Federal School Code is 001800. June 30th is the deadline.
  • File the FAFSA form online (preferred for Indiana residents).
  • Documents or clarifying information requested by Grace College’s Office of Student Financial Aid Services must be submitted within 30 days by the student. Notify the Student Financial Aid Office if you will be receiving any outside sources of financial aid.
  • Upon receiving the Student Aid Notification letter from Grace College, the student must carefully follow all the instructions that are listed.
  • Male citizens of the U.S. and male immigrant aliens 18 through 25 years old must be registered with the U.S. Selective Service System to be eligible for federal student loans and grants. Men can register at any post office or register online.
