Scholarships

First-year applicants are automatically considered for these renewable scholarships and notified when admission is granted. For homeschool students, GPA and test scores are considered; for transfer students, college GPA is also considered.

Merit-Based Scholarships

National Merit Finalist Scholarships
4-year, full-tuition

Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarships
Amount: $40,000 Scholarships
(renewable $10,000 per year)
Rank 1st or 2nd in your class and score 1300 SAT or 29 ACT
(SAT based on math and critical reading scores only)

Grace Merit Scholarships
Amount: $10,000-$36,000
(renewable $2,500-$9,000 per year)

Grace College Grants
Up to $4,000 per year

Grace Diversity Scholarships
Up to $4,000 per year

FGBC Scholarships
$1,250 per year

Clergy Children’s Award
$1,250 per year

Athletic Talent Awards
Award amount determined by Athletic Department

Church Matching Grant Program
Up to $500 from church + Up to $500 from Grace =total $1,000 per year

All scholarships and awards are renewable based on academic good standing at the end of each academic year.

Presidential Scholarship Competition

For High School Seniors

The Grace College Presidential Scholarship Competition
is held in February each year

 

To be considered for the
Presidential Scholarship Competition, applications for admission to Grace College should be submitted by the December 1 priority date (January 1 deadline). 

Recommended academic credentials for consideration:
3.75 GPA and SAT score of 1200* or ACT score of 27
(*SAT based on math and critical reading scores only)

 
Finalists are selected by January 15 and invited to compete
on the Grace College campus February 5 and 6, 2010.

Grace College Transfer Student Scholarship

Scholarships are awarded based on student’s college academic record.  Students must be enrolling as a full-time student at Grace College.  These scholarships are for students who have greater than 24 credits hours of transfer work. Scholarship eligibility is determined at the point of admission and will not be updated following completion of additional credits. Students with less than 24 credits must meet the requirements for merit-based scholarship to receive merit aid.

≥1100 SAT or ≥24 ACT                     $  500
Top 10% of class                               $  500

Maxiumum Total                                $2,500

Must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.  All other eligibility requirements are as listed for Transfer Academic Scholarships above.
