Grace College and Theological Seminary

Homeschool Students

MISSION AND VALUES

At Grace College, we place a high value on students who have been educated at home, students who have "served the commandments of their fathers and have not forsaken the teaching of their mothers." (Proverbs 6:20)  One of every five students at Grace College is a home school student.

PREPARING YOU

As a home school student preparing for higher education, specific steps must be taken in order to complete the application for admission process:

  • Complete the application.  It is acceptable to send in each part as it is available:

    • SAT or ACT scores
    • Transcript or verification of courses completed
    • Spiritual life reference

  • Homeschool students who apply for admission are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships and notified when admission is granted.

  • To apply for need-based financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA), which is necessary in order to be qualified for any federal or state grants. Indiana residents must file this form by March 1 to be considered for these funds.

  • Grace College offers home school juniors and seniors (at least 16 years of age) the opportunity to take college classes on campus for credit at a reduced rate through the college's "Jump Start" program. If interested, please call the Admissions Office toll-free at 1-866-97-GRACE for information regarding this opportunity.
