DETERMINATION OF NEED
Financial need is the difference between the cost of attending
Grace College and the expected family contribution. This
family contribution is determined from information provided
by the parents and the student via the FAFSA.
For the student
showing financial need, Grace makes a concerted effort
to provide financial assistance to reduce the need. Financial
assistance is available through Federal, State and Grace
College programs. Special circumstances will be reviewed
on an individual basis when submitted in writing.
TYPES OF AID
Virtually all financial aid programs are classified under one of
two types: gift aid or self-help
assistance.
RENEWAL OF AID
Students must file the FAFSA each year in order to apply
for renewal of financial aid. If requested, signed photocopies
of student and parent federal tax returns, including W-2
forms, need to be submitted to the Student Aid Office within
30 days from the date of request.
Refer to the Academic
Scholarship section or FGBC
Scholarship Section regarding renewal requirements and deadlines for
institutional scholarships.
PAYMENT PLANS
There are two options. The first is to pay the semester
balance owed before the semester begins. Grace also offers
a longer-term payment plan through Tuition Management Services. This plan allows the parent/student
the option of making up to 12 monthly payments to pay off
the balance. The annual cost of this plan is $55 with no
other fees or interest charges. This service may be contacted
at 1–888–713–7234 or visit their website for
further information.
