Scholarships

The Kosciusko County Community Foundation makes this directory available as a service to area students seeking financial assistance in order to pursue higher education.

HOW TO USE THIS DIRECTORY:

Kosciusko County Community Foundation Section

  • Review the Qualifications and Eligibility sections of each information sheet to determine if you are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Complete a standard application form and make a copy of it for each traditional scholarship you want to apply for. Write the name of the scholarship you are applying for on the appropriate copy of the application form.
  • Complete a non-traditional application form and make a copy of it for each non-traditional scholarship you want to apply for. (Non-traditional scholarships are highlighted in gray on the “List of Scholarships.”) Write the name of the scholarship you are applying for on the appropriate copy of the application form.
  • Staple required attachments (such as transcripts, letters of reference, etc.) to each application.
  • In one large envelope, submit all of your stapled application forms/attachments (in the order of the List of Scholarships index) along with a smaller envelope containing one photo (regardless of the number of applications you are submitting) and one Student Aid Report (SAR) that you receive after filing your FAFSA. The SAR you submit should include your name and your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) number.

  • Follow the organization’s instructions on applying. If you have any questions regarding the scholarship or application instructions, you must contact the organization listed. The Community Foundation can not answer questions about scholarship funds they do not administer.

  • The Community Foundation gives each high school in the county the opportunity to use this directory to promote scholarships that are available to their students/alumni.
  • Review the .pdf for each scholarship to determine if you are eligible to apply.

  • Follow the school’s instructions on applying. If you have any questions regarding the scholarship or application instructions, you must contact the school guidance office or organization listed. The Community Foundation can not answer questions about scholarship funds that are not held here.
