The Jump Start program can help you earn dual credit for high school and college, earn accredited transferable college credit, and take advanced courses that are not offered at the high school level.
If you are a high school junior or senior and your high school GPA is at least a 3.0, you may take a total of 12 credit hours as a Jump Start student at Grace College. Juniors may take three credit hours per semester; seniors may take up to six credit hours per semester. Jump Start registrations are subject to approval by the Registrar. To go beyond a total of 12 credit hours, a student must make a petition with the Jump Start Coordinator. Students will be allowed to take 6 additional credit hours, but must have maintained a 3.0 GPA both in high school and at Grace.
