The Orthopaedic Scholar Institute (OSI) is a co-curricular program originally created in partnership with leading orthopaedic companies to prepare Grace College business students to excel as leaders within that prestigious international industry. Since its inception, OSI has expanded to include preparation of students for other industries as well.
Students in the OSI program receive specialized training in communication, personal branding, group dynamics, personality assessment, interview preparation and other transferable skills that local companies and other businesses have identified as strengths they are looking for in their interns and employees.
Students also receive individual mentoring during the training process. After months of preparation, qualified OSI scholars are then sent to interview for available internships. Through their OSI training and internships, successful scholars are well-prepared and are in a strategic position to be the preferred candidates for full-time employment opportunities.
